More than 30 years ago, our dad came to OC undereducated and with minimal resources, but also with a burning desire to make something of his life. He hoped and prayed that his modest athletic talent would be his ticket. Little did he know what God would do through his next four years at Oklahoma Christian. He became a four-time All-American in track and field and cross country. The lessons from his years as a runner have impacted his faith, work ethic and passion in ways that we, as his children, greatly appreciate.

Now, 27 years after his graduation, all four of us have attended OC (two graduates and two more this year.) And we’ve all married fellow OC students, too. So now it’s time for us to give back. We have gladly donated our time, talents and money to make a new CD – Arise – with all profits going to OKlahoma Christian. Specifically, we’re appreciative of the track and field and cross country programs, and we want to help elevate them so they rank among the very best programs in the United States. More imporantly, we want to support the programs as they transform more young men and women into dedicated followers of Christ … just as they did for our dad.
