Meet the Herndons
The Herndons started their musical career singing church songs together at home and in the car. Next came their church talent shows, and eventually they began traveling to perform at other churches and Christian events throughout the South. Some of their favorite memories are singing at the Tulsa Workshop, recording with Acappella Children in the 90's, traveling to a pig farm in Nebraska for a small church gig, and generally riding all over the state of Oklahoma in their parents' van. They continued to sing together through their awkward middle school and high school years. Though they became busy with college, careers, and families as young adults, they often sang at the Oklahoma Opry and Rodeo Opry when all four of them could make it. All four siblings sang with different groups during their years at Oklahoma Christian University—the university chorale for Sada, New Reign for Adam and the twins, and Summer Singers for Jala and Addi. The twins also appeared in season 1 of CMT’s show "Can You Duet” in 2008. The family now enjoys singing together at holidays, performing occasionally at special engagements, and creating funny music videos on the Acappella app on their phones (you should check it out!). God has blessed this family with a lasting love of harmony and music that brings glory to His name.
